57-Year-Old Pamela Anderson Without Makeup Posed For The Cover Of Better Homes & Gardens: Rare Shots Of The Star That Went Immediately Viral!
The screen icon has revealed her passion for cooking. Using cherished family recipes, Pamela Anderson has embarked on writing a cookbook.
At 57, the actress shared that her culinary adventure began with a housewarming gift she created for her sons, 27-year-old Brandon and 26-year-old Dylan.
“I remember my mom had these recipe cards in a box,” Pamela recounted. “I thought I needed to find the perfect recipe card box… it was a gift for the boys who had just bought a house together, and their girlfriends, all four of them,” she explained.
The “Baywatch” star noted that her older son was the driving force behind this project. “Of course, my son Brandon, being the businessman he is, said, ‘It’s a book, Mom.’ And so we did, naming it ‘I Love You’ because that’s what was engraved on the recipe box.”
Pamela views her cooking passion as a form of meditation. “Baking, for me, is a kind of meditation… There’s something about it that I compare to giving birth. If other people have done it, then I can too. Baking teaches patience. I’ve realized there’s so much value in cooking. If you enjoy it, you’re good at many things.”
During the interview, the actress reflected on her 1990s image and how she was perceived by society. “People had this pneumatic image of me, starting with ‘Playboy’ and ‘Baywatch,’ extending to my rockstar husbands and everything else. And while I hosted all these dinner parties and cooked meals for my family and kids, it wasn’t something publicly visible. But I also played into the persona that was created around me. I’m glad I did all that, I’m really happy I was like that back then,” she explained.
Currently, Anderson feels she has “moved past all that,” “shed” her former fame, and can truly be herself. Recently, she has opted to go makeup-free, embracing natural beauty while maintaining her skincare routine with nourishing creams and moisturizing lotions. Pamela’s cookbook is a continuation of her sensational memoir “Love, Pamela,” which was published on January 31, 2023.
