Despite the fact that many families adopt domestic animals, this family tamed a wild cat or caracal. Even though his look is quite manacing, the family loves the wild animal wholeheartedly.
The family lives in Latvia, and it is noteworthy that adopting caracals is legal there. Nevertheless, the origins of the cat come from Africa, Central Asia, and the Middle East.
The cat is quite sentimental in spite of his instincts and nature. He is very affectionate and cute and hates being lonely at home.
His appetite is equal to human beings, so he has his meals three times a day together with his other cat friends at the house. The other cats are just ordinary; however, he is very special. The animal stays serious all the time, but he somehow makes the owners believe that he needs their presence and attention.
The cat sometimes even shouts when he’s alone. This is his way of doing a protest against loneliness. He is very curious about what everybody is doing at home.
This unusual animal is more intellectual than a typical cat, thus his movements and displays of affection are more genuine. Undoubtedly, having a big cat as a pet draws a lot of attention, and when its owner takes it out, people are shocked.
When they first see him, people occasionally become delighted, but a lot of people are terrified of it and even wonder whether it’s hazardous.
Undoubtedly, it is very challenging to bring up a wild animal. He cannot resist his appetite, for instance.

He frequently has the inclination to depart without warning. Thus his family’s main concern is keeping him in their area. It had happened before, and he was unable to go home since he was unfamiliar with the area. His relatives searched for him for several days.
Although they were able to find it, the cat may still run across certain natural dangers, such as a frozen lake in the winter.
Despite all of his challenges in caring for him, what matters most is that his family genuinely loves him unconditionally.
