Every dog desires to be rescued. Some dogs have no trouble locating their future home. On the other side, some spend a lot of time in the shelters in the hopes that somebody will take them home.

People choose the prettiest dog offered when choosing a new pet. They make decisions based on looks. Many of them believe that strange-looking animals are not the ones worth adopting.

But these pets, too, need affection… like Wally, who had been impatiently waiting for so long.

Wally is not a typical dog. His difficult life had left its marks on him.

When Wally was a 10-year-old stray dog, he was originally taken to the animal sanctuary.

Additionally, he had a skin illness, and one eye was blind. All of this gave Wally the kind of look that would scare away prospective adopters.

The canine quickly rose to the top of the favorite pets list at the shelter, though, thanks to his endearing personality.

He would do everything for some food and loved to drool.

Wally was a wonderful puppy who only required a welcoming home.

Sadly, a lot of people who came to the shelter didn’t notice the beauty inside. Wally has searched for a new house for a year with no luck. He had to be the sole animal.

And his health started to suffer as a result of the rejections.

When he initially entered, he used to be cheerful. He enjoyed going outside, but in his kennel, he appeared miserable.

However, Wally’s tale has a fortunate conclusion.

The sanctuary declared that Wally had finally found his permanent home after he went popular on social media!

He feels content and looks fantastic right now. We are overjoyed for this adorable pup! All dogs, regardless of appearance, deserve to live in loving homes.
