Today, we’re excited to showcase a compact kitchen spanning just 5.5 square meters, ingeniously designed by Svetlana and her husband to maximize space and functionality.

Longing for a more comfortable and modern kitchen, they embarked on a journey to create a cozy yet practical space tailored to their needs.

Their first challenge was to optimize the layout while accommodating essential appliances and furniture.

After careful consideration, they opted to replace the front door with a contemporary model featuring glass inserts, instantly brightening and enlarging the kitchen.

By positioning the door to open into the hallway, they preserved valuable kitchen space.

Choosing a round table proved to be an excellent solution for the compact area. Next, they meticulously planned the kitchen unit project, prioritizing spaciousness and ease of use.

The couple selected built-in appliances and sleek artificial stone countertops, complemented by white facades to impart a sense of openness.

To maximize functionality, they ingeniously integrated a built-in refrigerator and electric water heater above it.

The kitchen’s dark gray artificial stone sink and countertop exude sophistication, although they acknowledged the challenges of maintaining a pristine appearance with white tile backsplashes.

Despite this, the kitchen boasts essential amenities, including a gas stove, oven, extractor hood, and even a dishwasher, all seamlessly integrated into the space.

Notably, the stylish floor tiles add a touch of elegance to the overall design.

In a stroke of ingenuity, the owners repurposed the window sill area, extending the countertop to accommodate a built-in microwave.

Though they noted potential improvements, such as adjusting the microwave placement, the result is a cozy and highly functional kitchen that exceeds their expectations.
