“Modest, But So Cozy”: A Couple Decided To Remodel Their Outdated Bathroom As Cheaply As Possible!
Anna and her husband inherited an apartment with a Khrushchev-era bathroom in decent condition, except for needing renovations.
Unsure about how to proceed, they sought help from an advertisement site to find a specialist. Anna’s vision for the new bathroom was simple: light, airy, and cost-effective.
They opted to replace the old cast-iron bathtub with a tiled shower enclosure, also relocating the washing machine from the kitchen to the bathroom and protecting it with a fabric curtain.
The entire renovation, including replacing pipes, plumbing, tiles, and furniture, took 14 days and cost around $1,500.
The couple was satisfied with the outcome, finding the renovated bathroom brighter, more spacious, and enjoyable to use.
What do you think of their decision to replace the bathtub with a shower enclosure?
