Size 64 – it’s hard to imagine living with that weight, but that was Lizanne Dale’s reality. Her life was consumed by bulimia, a sugar addiction, and constant snacking, compounded by the responsibilities of raising six children by the time she was 39.

Lizanne reached a breaking point when she looked in the mirror one day and felt a surge of self-hatred. Weighing 134 kilos, twice what she should, she knew she couldn’t continue like this.

However, addressing her weight wasn’t as simple as just moving more and eating less. Lizanne faced additional challenges due to a rare type of spinal stenosis, which made serious exercise impossible. Despite this, her unhealthy eating habits persisted, leading to further weight gain.

Determined to turn her life around, Lizanne knew she had to take control of her diet. She committed to cooking all her meals from scratch, avoiding processed foods and opting for healthier options like homemade pizza with low-fat toppings.

The results were remarkable – in just eight months, Lizanne shed 63 kilos without relying on exercise. Her children, proud of her transformation, continue to keep her active.

Despite her weight loss, Lizanne still struggles with excess skin, which serves as a reminder of her journey. Nevertheless, she remains optimistic, focusing on her newfound happiness and improved quality of life.
