In the late 2000s, social media and forums were abuzz with wedding snapshots of an unconventional couple, Angela and Alexander Tolstov, from the Goth subculture. Their choice of attire and hairstyles for the ceremony was far from traditional, drawing both ridicule and fascination from onlookers.

Alexander donned a unique white suit reminiscent of an 18th-century style, paired with futuristic high platform boots and white dreadlocks, while Angela stunned in a black dress with distinctive blue-black curls and bold piercings.

Despite the unconventional appearance, the couple’s outfits harmonized seamlessly, exuding a sense of authenticity.

Instead of heading home or to a conventional restaurant after the registry office, they opted for a rock concert to celebrate their union. Fast forward to the present, and the internet still retains traces of their memorable wedding photos, a testament to their enduring impact.

Over a decade later, Angela and Alexander Tolstov are not only still together but have expanded their family with two children.

In 2017, another set of photos surfaced online, capturing the Tolstovs during a family photoshoot. The noticeable transformation, particularly in Alexander’s long hair, prompted speculation about the evolution of their gothic personas over time.

Renowned as Angela Tolstova, or Pushba, she has embraced roles as a model, body positivity advocate, and photographer, challenging societal norms with her unconventional perspectives.
