Salma Hayek was the star of the new Gucci boutique in New York’s opening event.

The 56-year-old Mexican-American actress arrived at the event dressed in a vintage Jacqueline Kennedy-inspired gown. A cropped jacket with black piping on top and a knee-length pencil skirt with lace embellishing the hem and a prominent zipper on the side completed the look. The celebrity accessorized with a silver diamond necklace and DeBeers earrings, black open-toed platform shoes, and a black purse with gold hardware and the iconic “GG” emblem.

The most noticeable feature was Salma’s new haircut, which was also in the 1960s style. Her shoulder-length hair was styled in enormous huge waves and framed her face with smokey eye makeup and pink lipstick.

Hayek posted a series of images to Instagram, naming Jackie Kennedy Onassis as her inspiration.
