Director of the Year and Movie of the Year: Steven Spielberg Triumphs at the Golden Globes

At the Los Angeles Film Awards, the 76-year-old producer and filmmaker made an appearance. Spielberg entered the room wearing a formal tuxedo and bow tie.

For “The Fabelmans,” the director was nominated in two categories. He succeeded in taking home the best film and director of the year prizes. In addition to “Elvis” and “Thar,” Stephen’s movie triumphed over “Avatar: The Way of the Water,” “Top Gun: Maverick,” and “Avatar.” Out of 13 nominations, this is the filmmaker’s fourth victory. In 1993 for “Schindler’s List” and in 1998 for “Saving Private Ryan,” Spielberg received Oscar nominations.

Vladislav Pasternak, a producer of Russian movies, thinks Spielberg’s work deserved to win. “He did a fantastic job on the West Side Story remake and is in excellent form. It’s a stunning image that is outstanding, top-notch, and creative in every aspect. It proves that it is just as good as directors from the younger or middle generations on the most ultra-modern level. However, “The Fabelmans” is an autobiographical film for Steven Spielberg; it’s a film about love of cinema in general, “- the publication quotes an expert from “78.ru”

The top actresses of the year included Kinta Brunson for her work in “Abbott Elementary School,” Amanda Syfred for the series “Dropout,” Michelle Leo for the movie “All at Once,” Zendaya for the series “Euphoria,” and Cate Blanchett for her emotional performance in “Tar.” Austin Butler, Colin Farrell, Kevin Costner, Jeremy Allen, and Evan Peters were awarded this year’s top actors.

The movie event was also attended by Selena Gomez. On the red carpet, the singer was dressed in a velvet gown with plunging cleavage.

Spielberg wed off his daughter last year. Sasha married Harry McNally, a well-known New York restaurateur’s son, in a Jewish ceremony.
