From an Old 500 sq ft Apartment Into a Super Modern One: The Result Photos Are So Inspiring!
Designer Yulia Vlasova undertook the task of transforming a 47 m² studio for a young woman, completing the renovation over a span of 10 months. Remarkably, the client entrusted the project entirely to the professionals, visiting the flat only once during the process.
The Transformation:
The original one-room flat was reimagined into a studio layout. This involved merging the kitchen with one room, while carving out a niche to create a bedroom. Additionally, the bathroom was expanded by utilizing space from the corridor.
Design Highlights:
To delineate the living room and kitchen areas, a portion of the partition was retained, serving as a backdrop for a strikingly upholstered accent blue sofa. The kitchen setup featured an L-shaped configuration, with meticulous attention given to the color scheme, resulting in multiple iterations to achieve the perfect shade of green for the cabinet facades.
Creating Privacy:
The bedroom was discretely separated from the main space by thick curtains, with a designated wardrobe niche within. Adding to the ambiance, a garland above the headboard was incorporated to enhance coziness.
Attention to Detail:
The entrance hall was infused with vibrancy through terracotta-hued walls and ornate floor tiles. Storage solutions were maximized, with a focus on functionality and minimalistic design elements.
Bathroom Finishes:
In the bathroom, a harmonious blend of ceramic tiles was curated, with soft green tiles complementing the kitchen cabinetry. Notably, a glass enclosure was installed to protect the sink from splashes originating from the bathtub.
In essence, this project embodies meticulous design choices and thoughtful space utilization, resulting in a harmonious and functional living environment tailored to the client’s needs.
