Making her debut appearance that evening was 19-year-old Clementine De Vere Drummond, daughter of Claudia Schiffer and film director Matthew Vaughn. Previously avoiding such events, Clementine had preferred to stay out of the limelight cast by her star mother.

While she had occasionally accompanied her parents to shows or games, such as a recent match between Chelsea and Middlesbrough, Clementine faced harsh criticism, with many deeming her less attractive than her 53-year-old mother and suggesting she would never surpass her. Once again, Clementine faced criticism, this time being accused of looking older than her age. Claudia, who has three children – Gaspar (20), Clementine (19), and Cosima (13) – shared in an interview her joy of having a large family and how her priorities shifted after becoming a mother. While Claudia wouldn’t mind if Clementine pursued a career in fashion, she believes her daughter should wait until adulthood to make such decisions.
