How the children changed after being able to attend school: an ordinary photographer paid for the education of 20 children from Bangladesh
A huge number of children who live in Bangladesh wake up in the morning and go straight to work, even though at their age they should be sitting at a school desk and listening to teachers.
All this is not from a good life. Parents spend a lot of effort just to feed their family. Unfortunately, here, child labour is a normal thing.
Of course, various improvements are gradually taking place, but they are too slow. This is a fact that photographer G.M.B. Akash cannot accept.
For 15 years he has been trying his best to draw people’s attention to the deplorable state of this country. He spends almost all his earnings on helping poor people.
The 43-year-old man even paid for the education of 20 children from Dhaka. The kids were allowed to attend school on the condition that he would buy the kids clothes, school supplies, pay their school fees and their food.
The photographer will also have to pay money to the parents of these schoolchildren. That is, the amount that the kids could have earned if they had continued to work further.
Akash believes that one person cannot change the whole world, but one person can change the world. The happy faces of the children only confirm this information.
