The 69-year-old Hollywood icon, celebrated for her roles in films like “Romancing the Stone,” was recently spotted in downtown Manhattan, a rare occurrence according to the Daily Mail.

While Turner’s appearance has evolved over the years, marked by weight gain and health challenges, she exuded a positive demeanor during her recent outing, clad in a long dark coat and casual attire.

The actress, whose full name is Mary Kathleen Turner, rose to prominence in the 1980s and 1990s, sharing the screen with stars like Michael Douglas and Danny DeVito. In a candid revelation in 2021, Turner disclosed her past affection for Douglas, her co-star in films like “Romancing the Stone” and “The Jewel of the Nile.”

Despite her feelings, Turner acknowledges the reality of Douglas’s enduring marriage to Catherine Zeta-Jones, expressing admiration for Zeta-Jones’s influence on her husband. Turner’s own marital journey with real estate mogul Jay Weiss ended in 2007, though she maintains a strong friendship with him, having raised their daughter Rachel Ann Weiss, now 36 years old.
