The artist shared a photo of herself as a child on Instagram. The actress shared a childhood photo of herself, smiling and wearing a yellow T-shirt with her black hair gathered into a ponytail. Selena also addressed an important message to her younger self.

“Dear little me, please don’t be afraid to ask for help,” the singer wrote.

Selena published the corresponding post on March 8. On International Women’s Day, the artist gave advice to young girls.

“I want each of us to be gentle with ourselves. Write a little important advice to yourself and stick it on the mirror to remind yourself that you are worthy of the world. Love you,” the artist noted.
