She was Forbidden to Look in the Mirror. The Girl’s Face was Distorted by a Rare Ailment

Tyla Clement, the protagonist of our actual story, is always melancholy or miserable. In fact, she was born with Mebius syndrome, a rare disease that prohibits her from smiling.

Tyla is unable to even lift the corners of her lips. The girl attempted to resolve the issue by visiting specialists and even undergoing reconstructive surgery.

She was so eager to see the results that the physicians prevented her from looking in the mirror for fear of having a nervous breakdown.

Unfortunately, it was all in vain; Tyla’s lips’ corners dropped down again, and the nerve endings never recovered. The sad situation taught the girl a hard lesson, but she overcame it as well. Tyla is now a well-known blogger and atypical model.

On her page, she discusses Moebius syndrome and encourages those who have it to accept themselves and believe in their own strength.
