Ben Affleck has sparked renewed interest after ditching his signature gray beard for a clean-shaven look. The 51-year-old actor was spotted visiting his 12-year-old son Samuel, and paparazzi captured the interaction.

Affleck appeared rejuvenated with his new look, sporting a casual outfit of a green button-down shirt, maroon t-shirt, corduroy jacket, and khakis. He playfully twirled a basketball while Samuel followed behind with his backpack.

The Oscar-winner is also father to daughters Violet (15) and Seraphina (18) with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. The former couple recently came together to support Samuel at a basketball game.

In recent news, fans were surprised to learn that Affleck kept love letters from Jennifer Lopez during his marriage to Garner. These letters reportedly resurfaced when Affleck and Lopez rekindled their romance in 2021. However, insiders claim Jennifer Garner is unfazed by the news and maintains a friendly relationship with both Affleck and her current boyfriend, John Miller.

“Ben is a romantic, and while he cherished his time with Jennifer Garner, he never quite moved on from J.Lo,” a source close to the situation revealed to the Daily Mail. “He keeps keepsakes from all aspects of his life, and these letters are a part of his story.” The source further clarified, “Jennifer Garner is happy for them, J.Lo is clearly enjoying it, and everyone seems to be on the same page. Both Ben and Jennifer  prioritize their children and are happy in their respective relationships.”

On a lighter note, Affleck and Lopez recently had a minor car mishap – a flat tire on their BMW after dropping off their children at a mall. Following a quick repair, the couple enjoyed a casual lunch at a local pizza place.
