The dog named Lucy felt someone approaching from behind as she was waiting outside before her owners’ wedding ceremony.
The dog nearly missed the woman in the wedding dress as she whirled around. But when Lucy recognized who it was, she felt compelled to smile.

She hesitated, unable to believe it was her mother.

The couple understood that they wanted their pet to be present at the wedding from the beginning of the preparation process.

She was with them the entire time, so they felt she earned to be there and serve as the flower girl after talking about it.

Lucy was thrilled to be a part of the celebrations and took her role as a flower girl very seriously.

The fact that Lucy jumped up and walked directly between us at the altar as soon as we started making our vows to one another was maybe even more special than the initial glimpse. She acted as though she understood that this was the most crucial moment of the entire day.
