Ryan was born in 1980 in Michigan, USA, with a weight of just 5 lbs and a height of only 11 inches. His unique condition at birth included being born without arms and with very small legs.

His upbringing was primarily managed by his mother and grandmother. Despite his differences, they treated him as a perfectly ordinary child. This nurturing approach allowed Ryan to learn how to live a full and joyful life.

From a young age, Ryan was passionate about sports. By the age of 7, he had already mastered baseball. He used his head to hold the bat against his shoulder, effortlessly hitting the ball. By gripping a pen or pencil in the same way, he could draw and write. By the age of 17, Ryan had maximized his physical capabilities. He graduated from high school, enrolled in college, obtained a driver’s license, and developed a keen interest in weightlifting.

Now, at 40, Ryan maintains a regular gym routine, works as a mobile app designer, and speaks at various forums as a motivational speaker. He has become a true celebrity in the U.S., inspiring others with his example.

Despite knowing that his own children might share his condition, Ryan, after discussing with his wife, decided firmly to become a father. In 2015, the couple welcomed a son, Owen. Owen’s legs are slightly more developed than his father’s, and he is very active. He loves playing with soft blocks, maneuvering them with his teeth.

Owen is a very creative child with a musical talent and dreams of learning to play a musical instrument. Moana was born in August 2017 and will soon turn 3. Like Owen, she inherited her father’s traits. She is learning to swim and enjoys walking on the grass. Ryan makes every effort to spend as much time as possible with his children, teaching them to live fully and often taking them along on his speaking engagements.
