Very often we hear about love stories in books and movies, but we completely forget that it exists in real life as well.

The story we want to share is the most ordinary one, if it were not for a terrible tragedy that proved the true power of love between two people.

In 2011, 33-year-old Turia Pitt took part in a 100K race as a model. But at some point a terrible fire broke out and many people were then literally trapped amidst the fire. The girl survived with 65% of her body burned.

She lost numerous fingers and was forever deformed by horrific burns. Turia then felt depressed, confessing that she had no idea how she had survived or how to live in this body now! She is now an inspiration and motivator for millions of women who are self-conscious about their appearance.

During that horrible time, she had a devoted friend by her side, Michael Hoskin, who helped and supported her through the long journey of rehabilitation.

The young men started a romantic relationship and were soon married. In 2017, the couple welcomed a son.

According to Michael, his wife is a very lovely and beautiful person to him, but her skin has altered.
