“When Even The Unreal Becomes Possible!”: A Woman Has Turned an Abandoned Public Toilet Into a Chic Home!
Laura Clark is an architect from England. She graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 2005 and later moved to London. One day, while walking around the city, she found an old abandoned public toilet.
Most people might not be interested in such a place, but Laura saw potential and started thinking about what she could do with it.
She decided to buy the property, which had been built in 1929 but hadn’t been used since 1980. It was in really bad condition, with trash everywhere and walls falling apart.
At first, Laura wanted to turn it into a small cinema or bar, but after three years of trying, she couldn’t get the right permissions.
So, she decided to transform the unattractive space into her dream apartment.
She did a lot of the work herself: knocking down walls, putting up new ones, installing electricity, and painting.
She worked on it for five years, and in 2016, her dream apartment was finally ready.
This is a kitchen!
And this is a living-room.
It’s hard to believe that this beautiful apartment used to be an old public toilet.
Laura’s hard work paid off, and she created a unique home for herself. The entrance looks modern and fits in well with the surrounding architecture.
Not everyone might like her idea, but for her, it’s a dream come true!
