Is 40 really an ancient age these days? Particularly with medical and cosmetic advances. Consider Halle Berry, who, at 54, still manages to appear like a girl.

Alicia Silverstone, 44, on the other hand, doesn’t appear to want to get any younger. The ’90s beauty is known as a vibrant blonde. Alicia was even named “Most Desirable Woman” at the MTV Movie Awards for her work in “Clueless.”

Unfortunately, the “most desirable” now resembles an elderly woman. Photographers captured the actress on a walk in Los Angeles the other day, and her appearance was not good: her hair was heavily grayed, her face wrinkled, and her figure was blurred, with no indication of a waist. Alicia, on the other hand, appeared to be quite content with her look.

Things aren’t so bad in Silverstone’s job either. And, while the actress hasn’t had many high-profile parts in recent years, she recently wrapped production on the post-apocalyptic thriller SHTF.

In addition to her Hollywood job, the Golden Globe nominee is an outspoken supporter of animal rights. The actress actively supports vegetarianism and has written books with meatless recipes.

Alicia divorced her spouse, with whom she had been married for 13 years, two years ago. The lead vocalist of the band S.T.U.N. is Silverstone’s ex-husband. Bear was born from the union. The child is now nine years old.
